i believe that abortion should only be used when someone has been raped but it might be useful in china to reduce population

I'm very much pro-choice, but I think that it should only be done within the first four months of the pregnancy, since after that, the nervous system starts growing in the fetus which would cause it to be in incredible pain during the abortion.
The idea of population control abortion is interesting... It's more humane than the things they are doing now in China.

you d have a good point abut only during the first four months because after that it is unhumane

This is a very delicate situation. Of which I have many opinions on, mostly against.

I was once, in a debate on this topic, faced with the question 'How is it killing if it's not even alive?'

Well, if death is signified by the cessation of one's heart, then life must be signified by one's heart beating. A baby's heart begins to develop the third week in the womb, and has four chambers by the eighth week. Alive. Abortion, would mean murdering this living human. So if murder is against the law, then how can Abortion not? I see no difference. People say it was a mistake when they get an abortion, well, people say the same thing when they murder someone.

On the other hand, I can see the problem with rape, and other such situations. But if you are able to give birth to the child without killing yourself, then do it. If you don't want it, at least let it live and set it up for adoption. After all; Life is a natural right. (And I believe the entire purpose of government and such things was to protect our rights.)
